New Collection of Ceramics by Ceramicist Wendy Abbott

A new collection of earthenware by ceramicist Wendy Abbott. These pods and plates are made by hand coiling white or red earthenware clay, then overpainted with coloured slips. The decoration is inspired by the motion of waves and marks found at the coast. They're over glazed and fired for a second time to 1050c. They are not watertight or frost proof.
